Manage Job Loss and Transition Provides several resources that can help you in time of job transitions, unemployment or during a disaster relief.

Minnesota Dislocated Worker Program This program provides free job services to those who have recently lost their job and meet certain qualifications.

Minnesota Workforce Centers WorkForce Centers offer free services to help you with various aspects of career planning and job searching. This site includes a map to locate a center near you as well as additional information on services that are available.

Rights After a Layoff If you have been laid off from your job, find out more about your rights, benefits, and protections during this time.

Unemployment Benefits in Minnesota This program provides free job services to those who have recently lost their job and meet certain qualifications.

Worker ReEmployment Additional resources as available for getting immediate help, finding a job, changing careers and upgrading your skills.

Homemakers Returning to Work If you have worked mainly in the home for the last two years caring for home and family and now need to support yourself due to loss of financial support, you may be eligible for this program. It provides pre-employment services to help you enter or re-enter the job market.

MinnesotaUnemployed.com Created by the nonprofit Community Building, inc, this site has been designed to provide resources for the unemployed such as affordable transportation, health care and more.

Getting Through Tough Times These fact sheets from the University of Minnesota Extension Department provide additional information on topics such as community agency services, making financial decisions with less, dealing with stress, interacting with children during tough times.
