Getting Started - Staff and Faculty

If your school currently uses LifePlan, please see About GPS LifePlan page for more information. If you are affiliated with a school that does not currently participate in LifePlan, you can still use the website. Please note that the information and activities were designed for college students but may be helpful to students of all ages and stages.

GPS LifePlan is designed to be an individualized program and each students experience will be different. Students may work on one area at a time or may be exploring multiple areas simultaneously. There is no starting or ending place; each student can determine what areas are or most interest/benefit to him/her. Students may revisit certain areas as their situation or needs change.

A major component of the overall GPS LifePlan program is our partner tool, eFolio. This is a web based program where students can create persons electronic portfolios. At this time, eFolio is only available to Minnesota residents or those enrolled in a Minnesota school. Please note that students who are not residents of Minnesota or who are not attending a Minnesota school can still utilize all aspects of GPS website but will need to consider alternative ways of storing/saving their work.
